CodeX: Handheld Python Powerhouse
CodeX is a versatile, handheld physical computing device designed to motivate exploration with real-world coding challenges. Featuring built-in graphics, sensors, sound, and more in a rugged, expandable one-piece design, CodeX has the right combination of features to engage students as they learn Python programming and computational thinking skills.
CodeX can be used to expose students to Python as early as 4th grade, but it is also perfect for middle school through high school students in CS, robotics, or CTE courses.
Mission Pack: Python with CodeX
The Python with CodeX mission pack is a standards aligned curriculum designed to teach Python programming through engaging, hands-on challenges. Students will learn to code in Python while exploring real-world applications of programming, from lighting up LEDs, to building interactive games, to interfacing with sensors! The curriculum is scaffolded to support students at all levels, with detailed explanations and interactive projects that build confidence and competence in coding.
